Adorable little fleece vest!

This is exactly what I was looking for! The XS fit my 7 lb pug puppy perfectly. I love the zipper opening in the back so when can use her harness with it and still access the hook. We have the Voyager harness and you can access the leash hooks just fine through the zipper opening on the back. Also love that it’s a half zip at the neck to get over her chubby pug neck. The Velcro closures under the belly make it so easy to put on too! She doesn’t have any problem wearing it. If she were a boy, it might be a little too long underneath to wear a boy might pee on it, but it’s perfect for her. Will buy again in a bigger size as she grows!

Great sweater for mild winter.

It fits perfectly on our boxer (35 kg, model size L). Great quality. Suitable for mild winter to wear on it’s own or under jacket. Dog can move freely in it.

Nice material.

I’ve bought three of these sweaters. They’re made well, wash great. I’d like to see it with one long tab that wraps from one side , go around the dog to the dogs side and maybe two Lg. snaps.. Velcro gets dog hair, it’s hard to get out , eventually won’t stay closed. WB..

My new favorite article of clothing for our fur-babe

I'll try to post a pic later, but I just got this and LOVE it!! It's for our 38 lb. mini-goldendoodle. He's apricot and I have discovered I love him in colors of the family of his coat. This is SO well made. It looks expensive and feels expensive. It wasn't cheap, but less than some things I've bought, but so nice. I knew from the fancy little hanger it came on it was well crafted. I thought it may not work at first because he started pulling on the velcro. But after I gushed over how handsome he looked, he left it be. LOL! I LOVE it! And I got him a Medium and it's plenty spacious (and he's pretty floofy at the moment). I prefer a fit on the looser side (not tight - no pillowing over the edges).

Best dog sweater on Amazon

The media could not be loaded. I basically read hundreds of reviews on dog sweaters to find the best bang for my buck and I think this is IT. I mostly was nervous about having something I had to slide over my dogs head because he is a DMT rescue and has a lot of trauma. (If you don’t know what that is, google with caution and rescue with caution if you decide to go that route it can be A LOT of work and not for a first time dog owner and only for those willing to put in the work. I digress.) We’ve put in so much work but he’s not of fan of things going over his head, being toweled off after a rainy walk, etc. So I do wish there was a Velcro at the neck to avoid causing him distress. But what did was leash him up BEFORE sliding the sweater on, and I actually did it outside because he tends to stay still when in a less familiar environment. ANYWAYS. This sweater feels very substantial, I feel like it’s good quality and kept my little Samson warm on a backpacking trip where the temp dipped into the low 40s (that’s what we got it for). Yes he’s fluffy, but he shed his undercoat that he had when we first got him because he lives inside, (I’ll try to add a third picture if I can find it) whereas his shelter was located outside. So he never grew that back, so we wanted to make sure he was still warm when camping and stuff. He didn’t like it at first, but seemed WAY more content when we backpack and camp in cooler weather. We live in the PNW I would say the sizing is pretty accurate. The length was just a LITTLE bit too long, so as you’ll see from the picture it flipped up sometimes because of his tail. But I would rather it be too long than too short because I can always get it hemmed. I have another coat that’s too short and it looks kind of pointless LOL. Long story long, yes the fabric will catch on brush, but overall the fabric and Velcro feel substantial and good. I would buy this sweater again and this brand again 1000%

Love that there is room for harness and easy to put on dog

We had one of these for our 10 pound dog in the past and we loved it. Decided to get one for our 22 pound dog since he spends time outside in the cold at doggie daycare, He's not a fan of putting on any kind of clothing and fights me if I have to stuff his head and legs through a shirt type setup. This is soft, adjustable, has room for harness loops and is easy to put on a wiggly dog and adjust the velcro fasteners. And it's attractive and warm.

Great quality and very well designed

This product is perfect. Quality and finish is perfect. Cleverly designed with a zip to facilitate head going through collar. First time my french bulldog does not not run away when I try to put a doggy sweater on his back, it’s very soft and allows skin to breathe. I highly recommend.

Be warned. Our vest showed up pre-worn and covered in another dog’s hair. Whoever returned it went through pains to repackage it like new. Completely unhygienic that a used product was resold.

Finally a keeper . Cool day fleece , easy to get on and off

Kurgo K9 Core Dog Sweater Size XS. My pup is 5lbs right now. Fits A TAD large. But it fits and I wouldn't buy it any smaller since he is growing so fast. Keeps puppy warm on a cool autumn day. This is really easy to put on. Zero fuzz. The underside is two Velcro straps. Makes it a huge opening to get the head through. It also clears the pee pee area so there's no mess when potty time . Material is a fleece polyester jacket. Much like inner liner of a ski jacket. Nice too side zipper to get the harness through. Under the neck there is a shirt zipper to loosen or tighten the girth . Overall I really like this jacket. I went through other ones and returned them. This one is finally a keeper!

Used sweater, poor quality

Sweater came looking like it was previously worn. The tags were not attached, there were stains on it and pills all over the fabric. Very disappointing especially for the price I paid. Expected more from a Kurgo product.

Fit is a little odd but otherwise great sweater

I like the material and generally the fit of this sweater, although the girth vs. length ratio is a little weird, it fits good enough. Oddly, I purchased to layer it under the Kurgo Loft jacket, as on the kurgo website it describes that the two products can be used together, however the loft jacket, although the same style, is sized differently and smaller, so the sweater sticks out the sides and back, meaning it gets wet or snowy if we are outside, which is not ideal for the layering purpose. Otherwise it seems well made, and my dog seems comfortable. I would prefer clips rather than velcro.
